UltraGlide is Kohler’s name for a ceramic-disc valve technology used in selected two-handle faucets. It does not identify one universal stem for all Kohler widespread, centerset, and kitchen faucets.
Hot and cold are related, not interchangeable
Paired valves usually close toward the center and therefore rotate in opposite directions. The bodies may appear alike on a workbench, but installing the wrong side can reverse handle operation or prevent correct alignment.
